Jo Evans

Jo Evans lives and works in London. She studied fine art textiles at Goldsmiths before completing a practice-based MA in Art Education at the Institute of Education in 2007. She divides her time between her art practice, making from her studio in South East London, and her work in art education. Recent exhibitions in 2024 include the '171st RWA Annual Open Exhibition' and 'Immerse' a three-person exhibition at the Round Tower, Portsmouth. Her drawing and textile practice explores ideas around time and the nature of creativity through her process of meditative observation and finely detailed, repetitive mark-making.
